Meursault: A Historic Wine Village
Wine has been made in Burgundy since Celtic times, long before the Romans shaped the region’s vineyards. In Meursault, this ancient heritage is still visible in the cool stone cellars beneath the village — silent witnesses to more than two thousand years of winemaking tradition.
Situated on the legendary Route des Grands Crus, Meursault is a paradise for wine lovers, celebrated for its golden slopes, limestone soils, and world‑famous white and red wines. Wine Tasting Classes
are fun and enjoyable for everyone interested in learning about Burgundy wines. Tasting includes observing colour, on the nose , identifying primary, secondary and tertiary aromas and tasting analysis.
Taste and discover where Burgundy Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes are grown
Classes are held in the morning with a visit to local winemakers (optional).You will have time to visit the region in the afternoon.
Informative, interactive and fun wine tasting experiences
You will taste 4 to 6 Bourgogne (Burgundy) white and red wines, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. You will receive a certificate of participation. By the end of the wine tasting class, you will have a greater understanding about Bourgogne (Burgundy) wine, the region and be able to define your preferences.
Whether you are knowledgeable about wine or not, the wine tasting classes and visits to local winemakers are enjoyable to discover Meursault and Burgundy.
